Next time you contact the surgery please check with Reception that we have your correct contact details and an up to date mobile phone number if you have one, so that we can send you SMS reminders for appointments etc

Home Visits

Sometimes it is necessary to request a home visit rather than an appointment.

Telephone the surgery (before 10.00am if possible) and give the receptionist details of the problem. They may ask you about your symptoms so the doctor can assess the degree of urgency and you may be called back by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner who will discuss your problem and the best course of action - if you are able to attend the surgery then you will be invited to do so by the Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

Home visits are very time consuming and sometimes surgery facilities may be needed for fuller examinations and tests, so please help us by coming to the surgery whenever possible.

Difficulty with transport is not in itself a valid reason to request a home visit
